The stunning blue glacier and tall waterfall at Quelat National Park in Aysen, Patagonia

The Marble Caves (Capillas de Mármol) are a stunning natural wonder located in General Carrera Lake, in the Aysén region of Chilean Patagonia. These breathtaking caves, carved by thousands of years of wave action, feature smooth marble walls in vibrant shades of blue, white, and gray. The colors of the caves change throughout the day, reflecting the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the lake, creating an ever-shifting, surreal landscape.

The most famous formations are the Marble Cathedral and the Marble Chapel, whose arches and columns give the appearance of natural, sculpted cathedrals. These caves can only be accessed by boat or kayak, allowing visitors to explore up close and marvel at the intricate patterns etched by nature.
